Reading Scholarship: A Promise between a Mother and Son

The Andrew James Cherpak III Memorial Reading Scholarship is awarded to a child experiencing reading difficulties. Snuggled on the couch, getting lost in a book was common practice in the Cherpak house. Andrew asked his mother to promise him to never stop spreading her love for reading to children. A promise was created to help as many children as possible become literate.

This scholarship does not incur any financial expenses for the foundation. Andrew's mother, a Reading Specialist, provides these services to a child in need.
