The Andrew James Cherpak III Memorial "Walk in Faith" Sponsorship is a division of the foundation to make sure children in need have new sneakers at the beginning of the school year. As a little boy, Andrew knew what it was like to have old, worn sneakers and the promises that a new pair of sneakers gave to him: namely warmth and a little "edge" with sports endeavors. In the spirit of being certain children from families with financial oppression have new sneakers to keep thier feet warm, comfortable, and healthy, we select children in the most need of sponsorship. In August, these children receive their new sneakers. . . just in time for the new school year! We encourage those who are struggling with enormous financial barriers to always "walk in faith" and know that others care.
